Ethically made

We follow the World Fair Trade Organisation's guidelines to ensure our practices are fair and improve the lives of those who work with us.

The strips with the Andean motifs have been handmade by women in a rural community in the Peruvian Andes. We pay them a fair wage and help the ones that want to set up their own local businesses. We also dedicate part of the profits to undertake development projects chosen by the women in the communities.

The sweatshirt was tailored in a small family-run factory in Lima. We only work with small factories that respect workers' rights and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.

Materials

The sweatshirt is made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. 

The motifs have been made using a blend of alpaca and sheep wool, so they are soft to the touch.

The handmade motifs

Each motif tells a story and represents aspects of life in the community.

The motif on this sweatshirt is called Hakaku in Quechua and represents a tool they use to cut the grass to feed the animals. Because of its shape, it's also commonly known as the claws of the puma, one of the three sacred animals for the Inkas. 

Please note that each woman may weave the motifs slightly differently so the ones in your clothes might not look exactly the same as the ones in the picture. This makes every piece unique and special.

Delivery and returns

Orders dispatch from the UK. We aim to dispatch every order within 24 hours (Monday – Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays). 

Shipping

Please note: if you're not in the UK, you might have to pay import tax and duties when your order reaches your country.

Easy returns

You have 14 days to return your order from the moment you receive it. For reasons of hygiene, jewellery and hair accessories cannot be returned or refunded.

This sweatshirt was a gift from my husband who knows how much I love this brand. I love it! The fabric is really, really soft to the touch and the ethnic motifs are gorgeous. I also love the style, it's really easy to wear and it goes with anything - you can dress it up or down and it always looks great.

I've been looking for cute and comfy clothes to wear while working from home and this sweatshirt is just perfect. What I loved is that it's a lot warmer than what I was expecting, the fit is absolutely great, baggy enough but still fitted in all the right places, the colour is great and the design is unique, I love how it's not just your basic jumper!
